MP005 | FROSTFOG – “Rehearsals 1997” EP

The Underground Metal Abyss always hide something in it and Malevolent Productions unearthed once again what dwells in the dark.

Frostfog. Featuring Basajaun (Impium) and Eöl (Elffor, Numen, Surt Ur, Aura Negativ). Spawned in 1996 and put to rest in 1999, this EP was recorded in the rehearsal room in 1997, a raw one take performance recorded in tape, and after some activity rehearsing and working in the material, Frostfog was killed by its own hands. The reasons not deserve attention or, at least, they do not have to be commented or lamented here. Here you have the unknown (till the miserable year of 2020) rehearsal tape of Frostfog in CD and digital formats. A genuine cold winter frost. Clean vocals and a symphonic composition of epic dimensions but raw and poor recording which absolutely do not means it’s does not well done (and that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be, fight with whatever you have in your bloody hands). Worthy attention to it.
